Answer:let money 's age be x

Let son 's age be y.

ATQ five years hence

Money age =x+5

Son age =y+5 then

X+5= 3( y+5)

X+5= 3y+15

x-3y=10.let equation (a)

And then

X-5=7(y-5)

X-5= 7y-35

X-7y =-30 let equation b.

Then solve equation a and b by elimination method

X-7y=-30

X-3y=10

_ + -

-4y =- 40

Y= 10 so present age of son is 10 years

Put value of y I equation a then find value of x

X-3y=10

X-3( 10) = 10

X-30=10

X= 40

So present age of father is 40 years.
