Hii!!

here's ur answer...

given length of the rectangular lawn is 12m and breadth of the rectangular lawn is 10m

area of the rectangular lawn=l×b

=12×10

=120m²

given area of tile is 25cm²=0.25m²

no. of tiles needed for the lawn=120/0.25

=480

hence, 480 tiles are required.

total cost if per tile costs ₹8=480×8

=₹3840

total cost is ₹3840.

hope this helps...!

Given the side of tile is 25cm

We know that area of square is side * side

So area of each tile is 25 cm * 25cm

==> 625 cm²

Area of the rectangle is length * breadth

==> 12m * 10m

==> 1200cm*1000cm

Number of tiles needed = Area of lawn/Area of tile

==> 1200 cm * 1000cm/625cm²

==>1200*40/25

==> 1200*8/5

==> 240*8

==> 1920

1920 tiles are required

Cost per tile is Rs 8

Cost = Rs 8 * 1920

==>Rs 15360

The cost required is Rs 15360

Hope it helps you.
