Floppy disks were used in the old times for storing and transferring data from one device to another. USB’s have replaced the floppy disks, CDs, and DVDs. USBs are being used commonly to transfer data from one device to another since a long time. It is also used to connect external peripherals like optical drives, ethernet ports, adapters and many more. As the technology advances, do you think that in the near future, anything like Bluetooth can replace USB’s for long distance connectivity with the same data transfer speed and other features of USB? Justify your answer with solid reasons.

Answer: Bluetooth cannot be used to transfer data over a long distance as Bluetooth only provides connectivity between two or more devices within 10m of distance. But as the technologies are growing tremendously the websockets and other server systems can be used to transfer data.
