There are eight types of soil. They are
Alluvial soil which is rich in Potash and Lime.
Black or Regular Soil which is rich in Magnesia, Potash, Alumina, Lime and Iron.
Red Soil which is rich in Iron and Potash.
Literite Soil which is rich in Potash and Iron oxide.
Arid and Desert Soil which is rich in Phosphate and Soluble salts.
Saline and Alkaline soil which is rich in Sodium, Potassium and Magnisium.
Peaty and Marchy soil.
Forest and Mountain soil.
