Fluorine exhibits only - 1 oxidation state whereas other halogens exhibit +1,+3,+5 & +7 oxidation state also. explain. ​

fluorine is the most electronegative element and cannot exhibit any +ve oxidation state. Other halogens have d orbital and therefore, can expand their octets and show +1,+3,+5&+7 oxidation state also.
