Radius of curvature = 2× focal length

=>R = 2F

Given, F=50,cm

Then,

R = 2F

R = (2×50) cm

R = 100 cm = 1m

The radius of curvature of the covex mirror is 100 cm or 1 m.

Hope it helps you!

Answer:

Radius of curvature (R) of a mirror with focal length 50 cm is 100 cm.

Explanation:

Given,

Focal length of a convex mirror (f) = 50 cm

To find,

Radius of curvature (R)

Focal length: The distance between centre of curvature and its focus is called focal length.

Radius of curvature: The distance between centre of curvature to the centre of the extended sphere of the curve is called radius of curvature.

And radius of curvature(R) = 2 times the focal length (f)

i.e. R = 2f

⇒  R = 2(50 cm)

Therefore, radius of curvature (R) = 100 cm.
