After completion of gestation period the fully grown placneta and the foetus send the stimulus for foetal ejection.During this time the mother starts producing oxytocin slowly. The oxytocin produced has positive feed back mechanism and more and more oxytocin is produced leading to its surge. This induces wild contraction of the uterus leading to expulsion of foetus through the birth canal along with the placenta like this foetal ejection takes place.
