- Once there was a farmer he found two pots of gold buried in the ground. He wanted to take them home but feared his wife will tell everyone about it.
- Hence he decided to test her, he went home and told her that the King has a tortoise in his belly. His wife spread the rumor in the entire neighborhood.
- Soon, the rumor reached the King. He ordered his guards to find the culprit who is spreading these false rumors. They reached the farmer's home and took him.
- The King asked him his reasons for the rumor hence he told him the truth about testing his wife and the two gold pots.
- Since the farmer was honest the King granted him both the pots of gold and now he was free of any secret as well.
- Moral: Honesty is the best policy.
