(a) Figure (2) will probably have submerged leaves, the leaves are thin and thread like and the vascular bundle consisting of the phloem and xylem is exposed directly to the surrounding water.

(b) Figure (1) is an aquatic fern (pteridophyte) as it has carpet like leaves and highly branched roots.

(c) Figure (3) will probably have sporocarps or specialized spore containing bodies present in the underside of some ferns or pteridophytes.
