P(E)= no.of favourable events/total no.of events

so favourable event

for less than 20% marks =(20/100)×100= 20marks

students which got less than 20 marks is 7

total students is 90

P(E) =7/20.......(1)

P(E)for 60 or more marks is 15+9 students=24

favourable number of students is 24 and total number of students is 90 so P(E)is

24/90=4/15
