They are 3 types:

1.Grazing Food chain
This food chain begins from green plants at the base and the primary consumer is herbivore or grazing animal

2.Parasitic Food chain
It also begins from green plants at the base, then goes to herbivores which for which for example may be hist of a huge number of ectoparasites

3.Detritus Food chain
