While we are eating, the food enters into pharynx where there are two paths one food pipe other wind pipe. there is a flap like valve known as epiglottis, which acts as a door to protect the food to pass on the wrong way. if we talk while eating the epiglottis cannot stop the food to pass in the wind pipe which results to choaking.

BUT AT TIMES THERE ARE SITUATIONS WHEN THE FOOD GOES TO THE WIND PIPE AND CAUSES IRRITATION AND ALSO CHOKING . THE THROAT IS COMPOSED OF TWO PIPES AND WHEN WE TALK DURING EATING THE FOOD ENTERS WRONG WAY TO THE WIND PIPE, LEADING TO CHOKE
