Solution:

According to the question acceleration is uniform.

We have to plot a graph between velocity and distance, so the velocity is the y –coordinate of the graph and the distance (x) s the x- axis.

Taking Newton’s equation into consideration, we have

v^{2}-u^{2}=2 a s

The initial velocity will be 0 as the body will start from rest. So taking in terms of coordinate v= y and s = x.  

y^{2}=2 a x

The graph can be plotted by using various values for x and y.
