 \frac{wavelength of light in air }{wavelength of light in medium} = \frac{velocity of light in air}{velocity of light in medium}

 \frac{6000}{4500} = \frac{3X10^{8} }{y}  \\ y=2.25 X  10^{8} ms ^{-1}
