Answer: Rs 8522.22

For B, SGST payable will be Output SGST- Input SGST.

OUTPUT SGST= 9% of 9000 (as B is selling at list price)

let the price at which B buys = x

Therefore, INPUT SGST= 9% of x

Hence, 9%of 9000 - 9% of x= 160

On solving, we get x= Rs 7222.22

Therefore, amount payable by B is 7222.22+ 18% of 7222.22 =

7222.22+ 1300=

Rs 8522.22

Hope this helps.
