Acceleration in circular motion:

a = Δv/ Δt

The time which will be required for the object to move through the angle ∅ is

Δt = ∅r/v

a = ΙvΙ²/r . sin theta/ theta

As theta is small so sin theta ≈ 1

a =  ΙvΙ²/r
