For a wave frequency is 10hz and wave length is 2.5.How much distance it will travel in 40seconds.

The number of waves passing from a point in one second .

Given frequency = 10hz

It means 10 waves pass through a point in one second

length of each wave is 2.5m

So

In one second 10 waves of length 2.5 m will pass

That means in one second the first wave travels a distance of 25m from the respective point .

In 40 seconds the first wave travels a distance of 40×25 = 1000m from the respective point
