Moles of C would be present at equilibrium are 6.5

Explanation :

Equilibrium constant is the ratio of the concentration of products to the concentration of reactants each term raised to its stochiometric coefficients.

The balanced chemical reaction is:

         A+B\rightleftharpoons C+D

Initial amount     7     8               0      14

At eqm.             (7-x)   (8-x)         x     (14+x)

As we are given that:

K_c=\frac{[C]\times [D]}{[A]\times [B]}

60=\frac{(14-x)\times x}{(7-x)\times (8-x)}

x=6.5

Amount of C at equilibrium = 6.5 moles
