Answer:

This Formula that is F+V-E=2 Is also knowm as Euler's formula.In this when we add the faces and vertices of any polygon and then subtract it by its edges then we obyain 2. if we want to find anything such as vertices , faces and edges of a polygon.we can find through this formula.This is explained by the following example:

such that we want to find the edges of a cube.

number of faces a pentagon have is 6

number of vertices a cube has is 8.

so edge =F+V-2

=6+8-2

=12

so the number of edges is 12.
