Answer:

a. the sodium chloride 0.1% solution in Water is considered as hypotonic . when the RBC are suspended in hypotonic solution then the water moves into the cell by osmosis causing the cell to swell eventually burst . this is known as haemolysis.

b. this is because the cell walls of fruits and vegetables are semi permiable

the liquid inside the cells of dried fruits and vegetables is highly concentrated solution

when they are suspended in Water osmosis starts and water goes inside causing it again to swell and fruit or vegetable comes in their original form.
