For d block elements the first ionization potential is of the

order :

(a) Zn > Fe > Cu > Cr

Because the ionisation potential energy of Zn is 906 kj/mol , and the ionisation energy of Fe is 759kj/mol, the ionisation energy of Cu is 745 kj/mol ,the ionisation energy of Cr is 650 kj/mol

and the electronic configuration of those are

for zn 3d10 4s2

for Fe 3d6 4s2

for Cu 3d10 4s1

for Cr 3d5 4s1

form this electronic configuration we can gain a knowledge of stability of those perticles also.
