Solution,

To draw any graph of the line we should know where this line intersects on the X and Y-axis.

Here to know the value of x we have to put the value of y in the given equation of the line,  2x-y=2.

So, 2x- (-4)=2.

⇒2x+4=2.

⇒2x=-2.

⇒x=-1.

Hence, the value of x is -1.
