2x + y =  - 4 \\ and \: x \:  =  - 3 \\ by \: putting \: value \\  2( - 3) + y =  - 4 \\  - 6 + y =  - 4 \\ y =  - 4 + 6 \\ y = 2 \:  \:  \:  \:  \: ans
