Solution

252 = 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 7

(2 x 2):  Pair

(3 x 3):  Pair

        7: Has no pair

so we can multiply 252 by 7 to make a perfect square

252 * 7 = 1764

Answer:

a) 252

Smallest Number : 7

Squared Number: 1764

180 = 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 5

(2 x 2):  Pair

(3 x 3):  Pair

        5: Has no pair

so we can multiply 180 by 5 to make a perfect square

180*5 = 900

Answer:

b) 180

Smallest Number : 5

Squared Number: 900
