We know ,if the number of hits increases then the ad revenue also increases .

Therefore, ad revenue directly varies with the number of hits .

Let \:  x_{1} = £2 , \: y_{1} = 1000 \: hits

and \:  x_{2} = £29 , \: y_{2} = \red{?} \: hits

 \frac{x_{1}}{y_{1}} = \frac{x_{2}}{y_{2}}

 \implies \frac{£2}{1000} = \frac{£29}{y_{2}}

 \implies y_{2} = 29\times \frac{1000}{2}

 \implies y_{2} = 29 \times 500

 \implies y_{2} = 14500

Therefore.,

 \green { 14500 \:hits \: required \:to \:make\: £29 }
