Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Suppose we buy B number of Bananas, M number of Mangos, and A number of Apples.  100 fruits can be bought total, thus -

= B + M + A = 100 ——-(1)

And only Rs. 100 can be spent, thus total price,

= B/40 + 3 × M + 5 × A = 100 ——-(2)

Putting B = 80 is equation (1) & (2) we get,

= 80 + M + A = 100

= M + A = 20 ——-(3)

And 80/40 + 3 × M + 5 × A = 100

= 3 × M + 5 × A = 98 ——-(4)

Solving equations (3) & (4), we get, M = 1 and A = 19 i.e. 1 Mango and 19 Apples.

Thus, we need to buy -

1 Mango = Rs 3

80 Bananas = Rs 2

19 Apples = Rs 95

Total of 80 + 1 + 19 = 100

Fruits of price 2 + 3 + 95 = 100 Rupees.
