If reaction quotient is equal to equilibrium constant then it equilibrium
if it is less then equilibrium constant then reaction will move forward and if it is more than it will shift backwards

JaisonMF: can u plz explain in detail
YashInfinite: yes plz look towards derivation of equilibrium constant
YashInfinite: It is rate of forward reaction upon rate of backward reaction
JaisonMF: thanks
YashInfinite: nope
JaisonMF: why
YashInfinite: oops sorry wrong chat
JaisonMF: hm
