We first get the HCF of the two numbers..
HCF=5
210A + 55B=5
For us to get 5 the two numbers which can be added which are equal is half of 5 which is 2.5
So let 210A=2.5 and 55B=2.5
210A=2.5
A=1/84
55B=2.5
B=1/22
When we multiply 210 by 1/84 then multiply 55 by 1/22 then get their sum, we will get 5.
The reason as to why we divide the common divisor by 2 is to ensure equality between the two numbers meaning there is something common about them which is their GCD.
