For the current carrying solenoid as shown below, give reason and explain that out of the three points A, B and C at which point the field strength is maximum and at which point it is minimum.

I think the answer is at point C as this solenoid works like a bar magnet and the strength of magnet is more at its pole . so according to this in this figure C should be the answer ....

Hey mate...... Here is the correct answer :

at the boy. C magnetic field will be maximum and at point a it will be minimum

this is because magnetic field is high in that region where the magnetic field lines are closer to each other and magnetic field is lower at that reason where the magnetic field lines are farther from each other
