Given value

a = 1/3 ,b = -3/4 , c = -8/9

Take here RHS......

a×(b×c)

= 1/3×(-3/4 × -8/9)

= 1/3 × ( 2/3)

= 2/9

Now, take LHS

(a×b)×c

= (1/3 × -3/4 )×-8/9

=-1/4 × -8/9

= -2/9

so,

LHS = RHS

Verify that,

(a×b)×c= a× (b×c)

( \frac{1}{3}  \times  -  \frac{3}{4}) \times   -  \frac{8}{9}  =  \frac{1}{3}  \times ( -  \frac{3}{4}  \times  -  \frac{8}{9} ) \\  \\  =  >  -  \frac{3}{12}  \times  -  \frac{8}{9}  =  \frac{1}{3}  \times (  \frac{24}{36} ) \\  \\  =  >  \frac{24}{108}  =  \frac{24}{108}  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: [verified]
