TO DETERMINE

For the supply function S = p³ - p + 1 , the supply when the price is 2

EVALUATION

Here the given supply function

S = p³ - p + 1 - - - - - - (1)

Now we have to find the supply when the price is 2

For finding supply when the price is 2 we put p = 2 in Equation 1

We get

 \sf{S =  {(2)}^{3}  - 2 + 1}

 \sf{ \implies \: S =8 - 1}

 \sf{ \implies \: S =7}

FINAL ANSWER

Hence the required supply when the price is 2 = 7
