In an ap
a1 = x
a2 = 2x+k
a3 = 3x+6
then,

a2 - a1 =a3 - a2
2x+k - x =3x+6-2x-k
x+k=x-k+6
2k =6
k = 3
I hope this help u

in an ap,
2x+k-x=3x+6-(2x+k)
x+k=3x-6-2x-k
2k=3x-2x-x-6
2k=-6
k=-3
