The author feels that there is no more thrilling sensation than sailing. He feels it is almost like flying in dreams. The wings of the rushing wind seem to be taking the sailor to some unknown place. The sailor moves from the ground into the laps of Mother Nature. She carries him in her comfortable arms. One feels light and the voices of the air seem to be singing. The earth seems far away and little; and the clouds seem to be so close that you can almost touch them.
