Answer:

Perimeter of whole shape= 49.98cm

Area of whole shape= 38.465cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

in the question they said that all arcs are semi circles or quarter circles so the arcs on the shapes make them quadrants and the measurement of the whole shape is 7cm divide the shape into two horizontally and the radius of the quadrants will be 3.5cm for each

radius= 7/2= 3.5cm

find the perimeter of all the quadrants and multiply by 4 to find the perimeter of the whole shape

since there are 4 quadrants and they are all the same

P of quadrant=2\pir/4+2r

P= (2*3.14*3.5/4)+2(3.5)

P=5.495+7

P= 12.495

P of the whole shape = 12.495*4= 49.98cm

For the area find the area of the quadrants

Area of quadrants= 1/4\pir^2

                             =  1/4*3.14*3.5*3.5

                             =  9.61625cm^2

Area of whole shape= 9.61625*4

                                  = 38.465cm^2
