For what value of a is 2x³+2ax²+11x+a+3 exactly divisible by (2x-1)

If it is exactly divisible, then 2x - 1 = 0

x = 1/2

substitute it.

2 / 8 +  2a/ 4 + 11/2 + a+ 3 = 0

23/4 +3 +3a/2 = 0

a = -35/6
