In the time the wedge moves a distance 'x' towards left with an acceleration 'a' the block falls from a height 'h' with accelerating 'g'

x =  \frac{1}{2} a {r}^{2}

h =   \frac{1}{2} g {r}^{2}

   = >   \frac{x}{h }  =  \frac{a}{g}

cot \: θ =  \frac{a}{g}

a = g \: cot \: θ
