so
3y = -ax + 7
slope is
-a/3 for this line
4y = 3x - 11
slope is 3/4
the condition of perpendicularity states that
slope of line 1 × slope of line 2 = -1
-a/3 × 3/4 = -1
so a= 4
so
3y = -ax + 7
slope is
-a/3 for this line
