Let the zero be -4 (given)
Therefore, putting -4 in place of x will give us 0
So, 2(-4)^2-3(-4)-(2k+2)=0

=> (2*16) - (-12) - 2k -2 = 0
=> 32 + 12 -2k - 2 = 0
=> 44 - 2 - 2k = 0
=>42 - 2k = 0
=> 42 = 2k
=> k = 42/2
=> k = 21

Hence required value of k is 21.

Hope this answer helps you .
