.heya

here is ur answer

➡ unique solution refers to intersection lines

where

a1/a2 ≠ b1 /B2

here.a1 = 1 ;A2= 3

b1= -2; B2= k

so

1/3≠-2/k

➡ value of "k" can be any integer but cannot be -6

hope this helps u

Answer:

Step :-1

let ,

x - 2y = 3 ------->> 1

3x + ky = 1 ------->> 2

Step :- 2

Compare equation (1) with  and equation (2) with

Where ,

Since ,

Equation has infinitely many Solutions

⇒ k ≠ -6

Therefore , for all values of k expect -6 the system x-2y = 3 , 3x + ky = 1 has a unique Solution
