y=-3

x=k

substituting the values of x,y in the linear equation

3(k)-(-3)=6

3k+3=6

3k=6-3

3k=3

Answer:

in the point (k,-3) ,  x=k and y= -3

3x − y = 6

3k − (-3)= 6

3k + 3 = 6

3k = 6-3 = 3

k = 3/3

k = 1
