just put p(x)=3
put value of x that is 3 in equation and relate to zero
the answer will be k=-21

If the 3 is the zero of this polynomial so,
x=3
putting the value of x in the quadratic polynomial
2x²+x+k=0
2(3)²+3+k=0
2×9+3+k=0
18+3+k=0
21+k=0
k= -21
