Given polynomial: x²-x-(2k-2)

Also,X=–4,which is a zero of the given polynomial.

So,by substituting the given value of X,

we get:

(-4)²-(-4)-(2×k-2)

= 16+4-2k+4

=24-2k

(shifting -2k to the LHS,we get:)

24=2k

k=24/2

k=12.
