Given:-[ Factor]

x-2=0

x=2

ACCORDING TO QUESTION:-

3x²+4x+2k=-2

Now putting the value of in Given Equation (Polynomial)

3x²+4x+2k=-2

3(2)²+4(2)+2k=-2

3(4)+8+2k=-2

12+8+2k=-2

20+2k=-2

2k=-2-20

2k=-22

k=-22/2

k=-11

Thanks!!!!!

heya here is your answer...

P(x) = 3x² + 4x +2k

given that -2 is the root of the equation

p(-2) = 3×(-2)² + 4×(-2)+2k

= 12 -8+ 2k

4+2k = 0

2k = -4

=> k = -4/2 = -2

therefore the value of k will be -2

hope it helps you

thanks
