EQUATION 1) 7x+8y=k

                    2) 9x-4y=12

lets take the coordinates as (1,2)

then,

putting values,

7*1+8*2=k

=>7+16=k

=> k=23

so the value of k is 23

Answer:

7x+8y=k

7x+8y-k=0. ......1

9x-4y=12

9x-4y-12=0. ........2

A1=7. B1=8. C1=-k

A2=9. B2=-4. C2=-12

For unique solution

A1/A2 is not equal to b1/b2

7/9 is not equal to 8/-4

so, for any value of k the solution will have unique solution
