For what value of k the pair of linear equations will be inconsistent
(3k+1)x+3y-2=0
and (k*2+1)x+(k-2)y-5=0

we know that for inconsistent

we have

a1/a2 = b1/b2=c1/c2

(3k+1)/(2k+1) =3/(k-2)=2/5

therefore,(3k+1)/(2k+1)=2/5 and 3/(k-2)=2/5

15k+5=4k+2 and 15=2k-4

k= -3/11 and k=11/2

so we can say that there are infinite value of k
