•───────────────────•

➡According to question

Equations given:-

kx + y = k^2

and

x + ky = 1

➡Since the equations have infinitely many solutions

Thus,

Comparing the coefficients of x and y

k/1 = 1/k = 2k/1

Thus,

k = +1 or -1

k = +1/ root2 or -1/ root2

Answer:

kx+3y-11=0 == ax+by+c=0

so a=k. b= 3. c=-11

putting the formula written in attachment

we. x= √[3^2 -4(k.-11) ] /2k

x=√[9+44k]/2k

we have another eqn x+y=7

so x= 7-y

combining two eqns 7-y=√(9+44k)/2k

solve and get the answer
