For what value of k will the terms (2k+1),8 and 3k from an AP

we know that to form an Ap the common differences will be same.

so 8-(2k+1)=3k-8

=>8-2k-1 = 3k-8
=>-5k =-15
=>5k=15
=>k=3.

so the value of k will be 3.

Ap will be 7,8,9
