As 2p - 1, 7 and 3p are in AP, then the difference between each consecutive terms are equal.

⇒ 7 - (2p - 1) = 3p - 7

⇒ 7 - 2p + 1 = 3p - 7

⇒ 8 - 2p = 3p - 7

⇒ 8 + 7 = 3p + 2p

⇒ 15 = 5p

3 = p

So the value of p is '5'!!!

Thank you...
