Answer:

(X+9), X-6 and 4 are in GP, then

(X+9)/(X-6) =(X-6)/4

or, 4(X+9) = (X-6)(X-6)

or, X^2 -12X +36 -4X - 36 = 0

or, X(X-16) = 0

X = 0 or 16

hope its help you

If (x+9),(x−6) and 4 are in GP then common ratio will be equal.

⟹ x+9/x−6= x−6/4

⟹(x−6) ² =4(x+9)

⟹x ²−12x+36=4x+36

⟹x(x−16)=0

⟹x=0 or x=16.
