Explanation:

• In order to ensure that voters who are also disabled and senior citizens are assisted in all ways to ensure that they are more involved in the electoral process, the Election Committee placed particular importance on postal ballot
• The Indian Election Commission began to work on detailed guidelines for the postal ballot paper process for "Absentee voters of essential services", "senior citizens of more than 80 years of age", & those marked "PwD voters".
• The Election Commission is committed to making it easy for all such electoral categories to vote. With this latest move, the Commission will certainly be able to allow such people to exercise the rights to a franchise from home
